Six new A4 printers with fast print speeds, versatile connectivity and enhanced security features for modern offices
SINGAPORE, 10 April 2023 — Canon announced today the latest additions to the imageCLASS laser printer series: two monochrome printers - LBP121dn, LBP122dw, and four monochrome multifunction laser printers - MF271dn, MF272dw (Print, Scan, Copy) and MF274dn, MF275dw (Print, Scan, Copy, Fax). These new printers are designed to meet the needs of small offices and small workgroups with fast printing speeds, automatic two-sided printing and enhanced network connectivity.
Compact Footprint with High Productivity
Small but mighty, the LBP121dn and LBP122dw weigh in under 6 kg and fit comfortably into tight spaces while delivering A4 print outs at up to 29 pages per minute (ppm). With Canon’s proprietary On-Demand Fixing Technology, the LBP120 series deliver first print-outs in just 5.4 seconds after data is received by the printer.
The 3-in-1 models, MF271dn and MF272dw can perform simple flatbed scanning, while the 4-in-1 models, MF274dn and MF275dw get a boost on productivity with Auto Document Feeder (ADF) that can transform 20 document originals into monochrome PDF formats1 in under a minute.
Ease of Use
The LBP120 series and MF270 series are equipped with a 5-line LCD, or 6-line2 Touchscreen LCD displays, making daily operation, device management and maintenance extremely easy.
All-in-One Toner Cartridge System for Easy Maintenance
With an all-in-one toner cartridge design that can be swapped out of the machines easily, consumables can be effortlessly replaced so businesses have more time to focus on their core tasks. Replacement toner cartridges are available in standard yield of 1,200 pages3 and high yield of 2,500 pages3 options, so offices with differing print volumes over time can scale accordingly, helping with lower operational costs and less frequent toner cartridge replacement.
Seamless Connectivity and Enhanced Security
All new imageCLASS LBP120 and MF270 series come with network connectivity, and on the LBP122dw, MF272dw, MF275dw, the availability of wireless connectivity maximises the potential of print solutions such as the Canon PRINT Business for iOS and Android, Canon Print Service, Apple® AirPrint™ and Mopria® Print Service.
Network security has been enhanced from previous printer generations, and the inclusion of TLS 1.3, IEEE802.1X, and Verify System at Startup support IT security administrators to protect the network environment from security threats.
Availability
The latest imageCLASS LBP120 and MF270 series will be available at authorised Canon distributors and dealers from April 2023 onwards.
