The EOS-1D X Mark III is equipped with a newly-developed
High-res AF sensor, offering up to 191 AF points when
shooting with the viewfinder. Also, during Live View
shooting, the subject tracking is smoother thanks to the
wide AF area of Dual Pixel CMOS AF and the 525 AF area
zones.
The new algorithm incorporated in the “AI Servo AF IV”
makes tracking the subjects with a higher level of precision
in both viewfinder shooting and Live View shooting
possible.
You can also set AI Servo AF features using the “AF
Configuration Tool.” Choose from four different presets,
with the correct settings already set, meaning you don’t
need to deal with all the trouble that comes from adjusting
individual parameters to match the subject or scenes.
