Canon has announced that it plans to release firmware updates for five of its recent cameras which will add 24p (23.98fps) mode for video recording, available in both Full HD and 4K modes.
The camera models which are due to receive updated firmware (with anticipated release dates) are as follows:
The decision to release firmware updates that enable the additional video frame rate is in response to customer feedback and demand. Of the announcement Canon says it "is committed to providing a diverse and full line-up of products to cater for all capabilities and interests by listening to our customers feedback and providing enhancements accordingly.".
