Canon has released the first wave of firmware updates to resolve the Picture Transfer Protocol security flaw identified in Wi-Fi enabled EOS cameras.
Firmware is available for the following cameras:
- EOS 5D Mark III – version 1.3.6
- EOS 5D Mark IV – version 1.2.1
- EOS 5DS – version 1.1.3
- EOS 5DS R – version 1.1.3
- EOS-1D X – version 2.1.1
Updates for other affected Canon EOS cameras are expected to be released in due course.
