Photos taken with (non-DSLR) Canon PowerShot SX40 HS - Av Mode: ISO 100, Aperture f/8, Continuous shooting mode on Manfrotto Compact monopod.
Objective: Demonstrating the Canon PowerShot SX40 HS super-zoom's impressive optical zoom capabilities when set to continuous shooting / multi-shot mode (shooting a breaking wave).
Continuous Shooting (in Av Mode)
Camera shoots 2.4 images per second. Focal length: 35mm equiv: 770mm
High Speed HQ SCN Mode
There is also a SCN high speed burst mode.The camera will automatically shoot up to 8 continuous shots at a maximum speed of approx. 10.3 images per second. Auto ISO only.
